Senior Product Designer, Design Sytems & Design Ops • Feb 2019-present
I joined Staffbase in early 2019 as one of the first product designers. Since then, I've worked on various product areas in both discovery and delivery. In 2023, I briefly switched to a management track, exploring new roles at the company, before taking over Design Systems and Operations.
In my master's thesis, I designed and prototyped a mixed reality app for the Microsoft HoloLens.
Master's Thesis • 2019
I envisioned the future of fine art restoration using XR-based tools for data visualization and collaboration. In simple terms, I developed an app for the Microsoft HoloLens that enables users to view X-ray, XRF, and UV images of a painting directly on the canvas and interact with them. This involved creating a comprehensive information architecture and interaction design, envisioning how such an app could function.
We designed and developed an AR app for art exhibition at the Old Masters Picture Gallery in Dresden.
AR App, Student project • 2018

Using stationary iPads, we allowed them to learn about the unique research methods and rendered the colors in augmented reality.

Code experiment • 2018
What started as an assignment at the university turned into a fun side project. The initial task was to model a state machine, and I decided to tackle it while learning React. To add some fun to the project, I incorporated a stylish VCR design and even included some sounds.
Have a lookIn the past, I used to build websites with Wordpress
Webdesign • 2014-2019
I don't build websites anymore, but before I landed a job in product design, I worked at a couple of agencies and freelanced. Along the way, I learned various things that contributed to where I am now.
